Mary-Grace Flythe, Allied Member ASID, LEED AP

Mary-Grace is a 2007 Kappa Omicron Nu Honor Society, Sliver Shield Honor Society and Cum Lade graduate of Meredith College in Raleigh, North Carolina.  There she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design with a minor in Studio Art.  Mary-Grace played soccer for Meredith College and alongside many talented players, helped bring there team to the NCAA tournament.  Upon graduating she was awarded the Sandra Braham Shelton Scholarship in Interior Design for all four years of attending Meredith College and the Senior Academic and Leadership Award in Interior Design in 2007.

Mary-Grace has a diverse background in Interior Design, stretching from facilities management in Wake County, high end residential design in Texas, furniture sales through-out the southern states, to the privilege of being an independent consultant to other designers.    

Mary-Grace’s career achievements have included receiving her LEED AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, Accredited Professional) specialty in Interior Design and Construction in 2008; became an Allied Member of the ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) in 2007; and currently she is studying for her NCIDQ (National Council of Interior Design Qualification) certification exam for 2010. She was awarded an ASID Dallas Design Community, Design Ovation award, for her design of a living room along side with past employer; Catherine Dolen of Catherin Dolen and Associates of Waco, TX.  She is extremely excited and honored to now take on the role of Design Associate at Schelfe and Associates. 

Mary-Grace still enjoys playing soccer and is very active in the design community.  Mary-Grace loves to collect miniature chairs spanning the history of furniture.  Mary-Grace and her husband George reside in Raleigh with there tabby cat Charlie and chocolate lab, Belle.
