Lakeside Clubhouse
Hidden Lake Amenity Center
Youngsville, North Carolina
Schelfe and Associates, Inc. was selected to direct and design the interiors for this new amenity center which is designed to be the anchor building for the new Hidden Lake residential development. Hidden Lake is located in Youngsville, North Carolina and is developed by Crescent Communities, LLC.
Working with McClure Hopkins Architects of Raleigh, Schelfe and Associates, Inc. provided interior design services including coordination and consultation with the developer and the architect throughout the early stages of the project. Schelfe and Associates was instrumental in the selection of all interior finishes, layout, specifications and selection of all interior lighting, design of all custom millwork items including the topography site table and all marketing kiosks which displays the various information for the development, the developer and for the custom home builders. The firm also selected, procured and installed all decorative items for the project including furniture, area rugs, accessories and artwork.
A theme of an upstate lake clubhouse was created for the architecture of the building, the interiors team worked to compliment this style. Warm rich tones accented the dark wood stained elements and are used throughout the interior. The atmosphere is a casual yet upscale environment in which to gather with friends, read a book or enjoy the fire while overlooking the lake.
Tim & Marlene were awarded the 2007 ASID Design Specialty Merit Award for the design work on this project.
