Eclectic Vibrance
NoFo at the Pig

This restaurant project derived it roots from a former Piggly Wiggly grocery store. The former store would be transformed into a new and vibrant restaurant, bar and retail area. Working alongside the Owner and the Architect, New City Design Group, the interiors team designed and planned the new interior taking cues form the former Piggly Wiggly.
Interior details reminiscent to a "Grocery Store" and "Pig" theme are used throughout the interior. A custom hand-blown glass chandelier was designed as a focal point for the restaurant area, Piggly Wiggly vegetable can goods are used in the façade of the bar, and fluorescent lighting sheathed in pink covers are used to light the vaulted ceiling.
The interior is further developed by the use of vibrant rich colors reflected in the tilework, wall finishes and furniture. The restaurant, bar and retail areas work harmoniously and tie the theme together.
Tim was awarded the 2002 ASID Design Specialty Honor Award for this space.
