Updated Kitchen

The challenge for this project was to create a new family oriented kitchen that would include a new and funtional workspace for cooking, entertaining, family dining and an area that would become the central core of the home.

The design team combined three much smaller existing spaces, which included the original kitchen, pantry and butlers pantry into the new larger space. The homeowner desired a functional space for cooking yet also a warm and inviting space in which to enjoy and entertain. Custom cherry cabinets were choosen for the cabinetry and are accented by a creamy speckled granite countertop and a honed marble tile backsplash. Stainless steel appliances where choosen by the homeowner and an eixisting brick fireplace was converted to house the new built-in ovens!
