Simply Elegant
This project involved the complete design of a 4,500 square foot custom home. The Owners had purchased a lot in which they desired to build their new dream home set in a French architectural style. The design team worked closely with the Owners to identify all their needs and desires prior to developing the floor plans, the exterior façade and the overall interior style and details.
The new home needed to be functional, flow easily and have great views of the rear yard which would include a pool, master bedroom pergola and attached garage with exercise studio and covered walk. The interior was designed with clean lines, large scale trim and mouldings and classic detailing for all cabinetry. Main focus on the interior was in the connection of the Kitchen, Breakfast room and Family Living area. All three rooms needed to work in harmony, both in function and décor.
The interior color palette is soft and inviting with cream, beige and shades of blue accented by a crisp creamy white trim. Wide plank oak flooring with a dark walnut stain adds contrast to the subtle shades of the walls and provides a base to build the furnishings for the interior.
