Southern Charm
This Southern Living Idea House, located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, was designed as a southern family home for a young professional family with three active children. The interior for the home needs to provide casual living with southern entertaining.
Finely detailed interior trim and a painted wood wainscot wrap the perimeter of the first floor and provide clean architectural detail and structure for the interior. A palette of cream, tan, green, gold and crimson are used throughout the home and are used as mixed compliments in the upholstery. Furnishings are soft, comfortable and inviting yet dressy enough for a more formal event.
A modern day twist for a southern family home.
